Demetrios Tashie is an experienced Greek Folk Dancer, Teacher, and Musician.

He collects folk instruments, costumes, and culturally important articles of all kinds. Among his accomplishments, he has lectured and performed at The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, and Lincoln Center’s Library for the Performing Arts.

Demetri is also a proud long time menber of GAFS, the Greek American Folklore Society of Astoria NY,  founded by the late Paul Ginis.

He is sought after as a dance judge at various Greek Folk Dance Festivals around the country, including FDF  (Metropolis of San Francisco) and HDF (Metropolis of Atlanta).
