Nikos Nikolovienis has been a clinical coordinator of the Respiratory care department of Columbia Medical Center since 2018, where he provides leadership support, coordinate operations & supervise personnel to apply quality respiratory care services for the neonatal and pediatric population.

Since 1996, he has been a Greek dancer and has participated in various groups in Athens, Greece, until 2015 when he moved to New York and became part of the adult dance group of Hellenic Roots under the directors of Petro Fournioti.

Since 2020 Niko has been an instructor for Hellenic Roots, teaching children of ages 5-18 Greek Folklore dances, & history of same, from all regions of Greece in preparation for performances & competitions. He is also responsible for the organization of performances and competition groups, including rehearsing, preparing folklore costumes & enhancing dancers’ overall performance skills, such as dance mastery, stage presence & expression.
